God's Word Usually Plays Second Fiddle

Though many claim that they believe what the Bible says about everything, people often seem to huddle together with others who are like minded and don't thoroughly study an issue. God commends a multitude of counselors. God tells us that all the teachers that He has truly given are ours. Do churches sometimes become fortresses of thought control that actually keep people away from learning the whole counsel of God? The whole counsel of God - may that be our quest! Let God be true, and every man a liar.
